Martin Luther, a German Monk, who sparked the Protestant Reformation of the 16th centry, believed in a loving God, a gracious Jesus and the ultimate authority of the Bible. Those who believed in the same cause became to be know and Lutherans. Today, Lutherans are found on every continent and in almost every country, make us the largest Protestant church in the world.
Our first responsibility is to welcome those who do not have a church home with the good news message of forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We welcome people wherever they are in their spiritual journey.
Lutherans apply Christian truth to the present culture. We apply Biblical principles to everyday life.

Our Expectations
We hope that membership is not all you want. We hope that you will strive to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. Membership means that you’re on the roster. Discipleship calls you to participate in the action. To be a disciple involves six disciplines:
- Prayer
- Study of the Bible
- Regular Worship
- Service at, and beyond, Cross of Christ
- Be in relationship with others to encourage mutual growth
- Giving of your time, spiritual gifts and resources.
Practice doesn’t always make perfect, but it does make for progress. Discipleship is a life-long journey.
